How difficult is it to get into Cal Poly San Luis Obispo?

I have a 3.71 GPA combined SAT score of 1700, 530 in writing, 560 in reading, and 610 in mathematics. I took it again in November because I was not happy with the score so im still waiting for those results. also, I'm involved in loadsss of extracurriculars ... Yearbook editor, captain of the Fencing Team, President of REBEL, Officer ERASE, Varsity Cross Country, lots of voluntary work, work at a restaurant, an active member the Ecology Club, National Honors Society, National Technical Honors Society ... and many more. I am particularly concerned that they will not accept me into their school for two reasons .... my grades and my lack of experience in architecture, which is what I want to major in. Do you want to send a portfolio of related work with the architecture later? makes the check on activities for the kids? should I apply for the graphic communications since I have tons of experience with it? (I could do a great asset for it)

Architecture is quite competitive in Cal Poly SLO, but not as much as big as engineering. If your SAT scores better, then I would say you had a good chance getting accepted, especially in these activities for the kids.
